Obituary of Nigel Alistair Yarde

With great sadness we announce the passing of Nigel Alistair Yarde on Sunday, March 8^th, 2026, at 92 years. Beloved husband of Cora Yarde, and loving father of Richard Yarde (Pam McKay), Warren Yarde (Donna Yarde), Vasco Yarde (Marsha Yarde), and Julie Yarde (Chris Chapman). Cherished grandfather of Matthew Yarde (Rachel Baker), Makayla Yarde (Georg Pineda), Malea Yarde, and Miah Yarde, and proud great-grandfather of Audrey Pineda and Elle Pineda. Adored uncle of Karen Alleyne, David Alleyne, Rickie Alleyne, Shonnelle Alleyne, Michael Yarde, and Sheena Yarde. Dear brother of Vera Alleyne and Learie Yarde, and cousin of Alfred Babb.

Friends and family are invited to visit with Nigel's family beginning at 10am, prior to the commencement of the service at 11am, at Rushnell Funeral Home (103 Mill Street North, Port Hope) on Saturday, March 14^th, 2026. Nigel's family invites you to a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
