Obituary of Joan Mary Lawson

Lawson, Joan Mary Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Saturday September 27, 2008. Joan Bramworth beloved wife of the late Carl Rogers and Mervyn Lawson. Loving mother of John Rogers (Sharon) of Guelph, Peter Rogers of New Brunswick, Mary (John Hancock) of Ottawa and the late Rev. Canon Arthur Lawson survived by his wife Suzanne Perry Lawson. Survived by grandchildren Michael Rogers (Patricia), Carrie-Anne Rogers (partner Aaron Verstegen), Jamie Lawson (Feng Xu) and Sara (Erik Buchanan) Eleanor (Jamie Norman), Stephanie (Herbie Cuhn), Emily (Mark Adams), great-granddaughter Serra Rogers. Private Family Memorial Service was held at St. John?s Anglican Church, Port Hope on Wednesday at 1 pm. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery. Private Family Memorial Service was held at St. John?s Anglican Church, Port Hope on Wednesday at 1 pm. St. John's Anglican Church Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 eastbound Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope to Ridout St. Turn left at Ridout St. Follow Ridout St. east (it becomes Walton St.) to Pine St. Turn left on Pine St. Follow Pine St. north. The church is located a short distance along on the east (right) side of the street at the corner of South St. FROM HWY 401 westbound Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. At the "Y" veer to the left and continue south to Walton St. Turn right on Walton St. Follow Walton St. west through the business section to Pine St. Turn right on Pine St. Follow Pine St. north. The church is located a short distance along on the east (right) side of Pine St. at South St.

Port Hope Union Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope. The cemetery is located just past Jocelyn St./Marsh Rd. on the west (right) side of the road.
