Obituary of Ruth Audrey Lindop

Lindop, Ruth Audrey (nee Fierheller) WRN Peacefully on Tuesday September 14, 2010 at Extendicare, Port Hope. Beloved wife of the late John Lindop. Audrey was in her 91st year. She leaves behind three sons, David (Audrey) of Toronto, Michael (Jacqueline) of Port Hope and Peter (Jane) of Cornwall. She is survived by her grandchildren Kathryn (John), Britton (Nicole), Kristen, Nicholas, Alison (Glen), Caroline (Richard), Joanna and Jason. She was a great-grandmother of Alexander and William Johnson, Jack and Cole Lindop, Sarah, Caleb and Joshua Rowe and Leah Clark. Audrey is survived by her brother George Fierheller (Glenna) and was pre deceased by her sister Betty. She is fondly remembered by her nieces Vicki, Lori (J?rgen) and great niece and nephew Caitlin and Christian Wittemeir. There will be a visitation and Service at Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Monday September 27 from 10 am until time of Memorial Service at 11 am. There will be a visitation and Service at Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Monday September 27 from 10 am until time of Memorial Service at 11 am. Allison Funeral Home Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

Cremation with Interment

Port Hope Union Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope. The cemetery is located just past Jocelyn St./Marsh Rd. on the west (right) side of the road.

St. Mark's Parish Hall Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. At the "Y" stay to the left, you are now on Mill St. N. Follow Mill St. N. south to County Rd. 2, Peter St. at the railway underpass. Turn left on Peter St. Follow Peter St. east a short block to King St. Turn left on King St. The church is a short distance along on the east (right) side of the street.
