MacDonnell, John Albert It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of John on Saturday December 16, 2017 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Beverely (nee Warren) for 30 years. Brother-in-law to Sheila Wilson (nee Warren) (Wayne) and the late Linda Meredith (nee Warren) and John Roy Wayne Warren. John left home to join the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery and was stationed in Germany. He retired from the Toronto Zoo in 2009. He is survived by his sister Catherine (Greg MacEachern), brothers Peter and Neil (Gloria) and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Martha Moore and brother Angus Archie. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Tuesday 2-4 pm. Funeral Service at Port Hope United Church, 34 South Street, Port Hope, Wednesday 11 am. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery.
