Passed away at his home in Garden Hill on Friday October 19, 2018. Ames Nystrom beloved husband of Ethel. Dear father of Deborah Joy Sikora (John), Dawna Mae Veldhuis (Bob) and the late Douglas Ames Nystrom. Loving grandfather of Amy (Peter), Matthew, Adam (Leigh) and Rachel. Great-grandfather of Colt, Jack, Addison and Carson. Pre-deceased by four sisters and three brothers. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Durante. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope,  Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Branch 577 – Bewdley, Royal Canadian Legion Service, Tuesday 5:45 pm.
