Obituary of Steven Pieter Van der Mey

Van der Mey, Steven Pieter Passed away at Extendicare Nursing Home, Cobourg on Sunday October 26, 2003. Steven Van der Mey loving father of Rika (Ed Grunthal), Mary (Jerry Bos), Helena (John Ton), Cobie (Ralph Skinner), Jack Van der Mey, Edith (Jim Neil) and Nel Van der Mey. Brother of Kryn Van der Mey, Lena Linthout and the late Jantje. Father-in-law of Evelyn Van der Mey. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Tuesday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday 2 pm. Interment, Welcome Church Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Tuesday 7-9 pm. Allison Funeral Home Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

Welcome Church Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow County Rd. 2 south. The cemetery is located almost immediately south of the 401 on the west (right) side of the road.
