Haalstra, Jenny Born April 16, 1932, in Koekange, the Netherlands. Jenny was the second of 10 children. Passed away at Regency Long Term Care Home, Port Hope, Monday August 29, 2022. The family immigrated to Canada in 1951. Jenny married the love of her life, Clarence Jan Haalstra on June 15, 1956. Loving mother of Michael Haalstra (Sharon), Jeanette Symons (Ed), the late Wilma Haalstra and her husband Brad Gauvreau. Wonderful "Oma" to Linsey Tuttle (Ian), Haley Cole (Jonathan), Katie Haalstra, Kelsey Goode (David), Laura Haalstra, Olivia Bainbridge (Corey), Zach Symons (Andrea). Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. A family funeral service was held at Allison Funeral Home, Port Hope. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery. www.allisonfuneralhome.com
