Sincere Sympathy to the family. I have very fond memories of Marion and Chub. First Downey's Dairy milk being delivered to our home. In Chub and Marion's retirement years. They along with Jeanne and Ken would take an annual drive to our farm for vegetables. We always had a nice Chat and visit. It was nice to read Mom's life Story. A very fun and upbeat Lady.

I remember Marion well from my time as an employee of Bracbridge Dairy in the early 1960's.
Marion was in charge of the 'Front' part of the business ( Dairy Bar) and her husband 'Chub' was in charge of the 'Back'
Dairy Plant Processing.
Every summer we had a 'Bracebridge Dairy Party' held at their family cottage out on Lake Muskoka when the sumer season was over with.
They were wonderful people to work for I remember and treated us all like family.
Michael and Debbie I was so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I have such fond memories of your parents and the wonderful and fun relationship they had with my folks. Take comfort in the memories.

My condolences to the family. I grew up living directly behind Mr. & Mrs. Downey. I have very fond memories seeing them in their back yard and also going to their home on Halloween. We were always invited inside the door and given extra treats. I am so sorry for your loss.
