My heart is with you Evelyn, IJ., Danielle and family. Such a sudden great loss is a very difficult road to navigate that only God can lead you through. I pray God’s comfort, guidance and direction for each one of you. Let your love for Ivan and each other draw you closer to one another and may God’s grace, mercy and love fill your hearts and home.
I have known Ivan for at least 35 years. To me he was a man who loved the Lord and his family dearly. He was their provider and protector as well as the one whose love has bound their family together. He was always there to support his family no matter the difficulty of the situations that may arise and they did. If you ever had a need, Ivan would be more than willing to help you out. His smile was a constant on his face and his kindness and gentleness was always evident no matter when you met him. Ivan always had a warmth about him and he was always ready for a robust conversation. His love for the Lord was always evident in his kindness, good deeds and concern for others which caused him to invite them to church and talk to them about the Lord. Ivan you were one of a kind, created by the Lord, to bring God’s love to others. Now Evelyn, I.J., Danielle and family, God is calling each one of you to pick up Ivan’s mantle and carry on his memory with honour and love.
