I have wonderful memories of Brian when the Mulvaney family lived in West Vancouver in the 1980s and he was the calm, steady, good natured father in the midst of a busy household. A family ski trip in the Okanagan and at Whistler are particularly good memories as is the memory of a group of of us saying farewell to them at the airport when they were moving from Vancouver to Toronto - knowing how much we were all going to miss them. And an especially great memory I have is of meeting Brian by chance - some years after they had left Vancouver - at the corner of Georgia and Burrard on his way with a group of business associates to an important meeting, and getting a huge hug from him and having a chat while his colleagues waited. So characteristic of such a lovely man.
My condolences to Anne, Barry, Joanne and Tom on your loss of Brian and of Jim. I know you will be missing them dearly.
