Ann and I have been friends for over eleven years.
We were never short of conversation as she remained current about the world around her and was always interested in and proud of her family. She truly cared about the people in her life - her many friends, her relatives, loyal staff at Extendicare and her caregivers, Nancy and Lawrence.
Ann was always compassionate and grateful; she had a deep ,abiding, quiet faith that sustained her through tragic losses and ongoing deteriorating health.
When I think of Ann, I think of the phrase, “Grace under pressure”.
I will miss our visits and I will miss her so.
