When I think about Aunt Marie, I am struck by her sense of humor, her optimistic outlook on life and as so many have mentioned that infectious laugh! I have so many memories of visits to Port Hope, Ottawa, Bracebridge and to Montreal. I can remember my mother and Aunt Marie staying up till all hours in her Port Hope kitchen talking about their upbringing in Nova Scotia and about the many beloved cousins they left behind but never forgot. On a visit to Ottawa one year, I can remember sitting in a restaurant laughing and laughing about something peculiar on the menu that looked very much like bird seed. To Les, Heather, Sherry and Richard, I want to extend my deepest condolences. She loved you all very much and I know how much you will miss her. I miss her deeply, but will cherish her memory.
