Murray William Peacock

Born October 19th, 1953, peacefully passed away Friday, July 21st, 2023, age 69.

Dear son of the late Bill and Madeline Peacock. Dearly loved husband of the late Diane Ruth Peacock. Loved and loving father to Michael (Natalie), Aaron and Jordan (Madeline). Adored grandfather to Garrett, Eli, Brayden, Callie and Thomas. Dear brother to Marilyn Wagg (Doug). Murray will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Murray was born in Oshawa, Ontario and lived in Gelert, Ontario until he was three years old. His family then moved to Brooklin, Ontario, where he then spent the next 66 years of his life. He met his loving wife Diane and they raised three boys together. As a family they enjoyed spending their free time at the family cottage making memories. Murray worked at GM for 34 years, then during his retirement he enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren and at "the camp" with his life long best friend (Jim). Murray will be remembered for many things including his handiness, kindness, quick wit and fun sense of humour.

To celebrate Murray's life, a visitation and reception will be held at the Allison Funeral Home, Port Hope on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 from 1-4 pm.
