Obituary of Mary Evelyn Penny Bonner
Bonner, Mary (Penny)
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of Mary Evelyn Penny Bonner at Ed's House Hospice in Cobourg with family by her side.
Mary, also known as Penny to those who knew her well, was a woman of faith, strength, courage and kindness. She will be most remembered for her dedication to her family, Our Lady of Mercy Church, her work ethic and all of her entrepreneur adventures along the way.
After fast tracking her studies, Mary started her career as a nurse at the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital. After meeting the love of her life, Bob, she dedicated her time to raising their six (6) children. Proud owners of Country Lane Market and Maintenance for over twenty years, Bob and Mary were partners in all aspects of life. Beloved wife of Bob for over 50 years. Her beloved grandchildren, Kaleb, Kara, Leila, Brayden, Liam, Sophie, Teaghan, Lucas and Madison. Her
loving sisters, Donna (Gary) Webb, Lynn (Kaj) Pedersen and Judy Hill. Her nieces and nephews, Crystal Webb, Scott and Kiley (Nadia) Pederson, Taylor and Katelyn Hill, and many friends and family, for whom she loved dearly. Mary's family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Father Gerry, to those who provided care, especially the staff at Ed's House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre.
