Moore, William Maxwell (Max) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, January 29, 2004 in his 77th year at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Beloved husband and best friend Margaret Eleanor (Brown) of 57 years. Dear father of Ray & Marg Moore (Cobourg), Beverly & the late Matt Crocker (Port Hope), Sandra Lafont (Oshawa), Eric & Linda Moore (Orono), Russell & Cathy Moore (Port Hope), Dianne & Gary Thertell (Kendal), Keith & Terri Moore (Cobourg), and Garnet & Jackie Moore (Orono). Also survived by the best grandchildren ever, Ray Jr., Kim & Al, Bill, Gwen & Rob, Jennifer & Mike, Erin, Kyle, Evan, Catrina, Tiffany, Crystal, Corinne, Brett, Chad, Jeremy & Jessica. Dear great-grandfather of Alexandria, Bailey & Jacob, Zackery & Curtis, Brenda, and Breanna. Lovingly remembered by extended family Jason, Kevin, Cheryl & Eric, Tricia & Jeff, George and families. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret Moore (Cobourg), and Jim & Betty Brown (Port Hope) and predeceased by brothers Allan & Ralph. Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Allison Funeral Home Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

Welcome Church Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow County Rd. 2 south. The cemetery is located almost immediately south of the 401 on the west (right) side of the road.

Canton United Church Hall Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM PORT HOPE Follow County Rd. 2 north to the village of Welcome. At Welcome, continue north on County Rd. 10 through the village of Canton to 4th line. Turn right on 4th line. Follow 4th line east to the church. The church is located a short distance along on the north (left) side of the road.
