When I saw Karen's picture I recognized her from our youth! Same year for birth and 1st marriage. Then no mention of her original name, not even with her parents. I have come back several times hoping a tribute would offer a clue or a childhood picture! Nevertheless, sorry for your loss and your father also.

Karen was a good friend even though we never met face to face. She was kind hearted. She often talked about her love for her family. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Leslie and your family. Judy and I are shocked and saddened to learn of your Mom’s death. She was a great neighbour and a wonderful friend for the many years she and your Dad lived next door to us. She was a devoted Leaf fan (which we never held against her) and we tried to out cheer her when the Leafs and Habs played. We shall miss her very much. May she rest in Peace.
