I just wanted to send the Filip family our condolences from Matt and Sara in Australia. I met Mark more than 10 years ago when I was visiting Toronto to attend Allison and Mark's wedding. The Bushuk family told me that Mark was going to come and get ready with us for the wedding and that we were very similar and would hit it off. Short story is we did. I remember hanging out with Mark for the ceremony and the rest of the reception and getting into all kinds of mischief. At one point we ended up at another wedding looking for the bar before the ceremony even began!
I was fortunate enough to spend some time with the Susan, Ted and Matthew at their cottage when I have travelled to Toronto. I remember sitting around the dinner table at their quaint cottage enjoying some craft beer and a yarn. Great times I wish I could have again.
I just want to finish with saying I’ll never forget Mark’s infectious smile, his fun attitude and the good times he showed me while in his company. I never thought that I wouldn’t see his face again even with the distance we shared, and it will pain me knowing that I can’t hang out with the loveable guy again.
Attached are some photos I could find from our trip to Chicago in 2015. Great memories.
Much Love
Matt and Sara
