My heart is broken. Sylvia and I became friends through the skating and judging world, and I was blessed by her friendship. We would have regular catch ups on the phone when she would make me giggle with her incredible sense of humour! She will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Saddened to read of Sylvia's passing. Always one of my favourite skating judges, especially when on a panel with her late mother Mary. Both are missed. Condolences to the family.
I’m am so saddened to hear of Sylvia's passing. I’ve known her for what seems to be all my life!! I took figure skating lessons from her as a kid and always stopped to chat with her whenever I saw her around town!! Absolutely wonderful person!!
