Edmunds, John Charles William 'Jack', 1915 - 2005 Passed away suddenly in his 90th year at Northumberland Hills Hospital - Cobourg in the presence of his family on Sunday, January 30, 2005. Jack will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Violet, daughter Lee, son Ross, daughter-in-law Carole, his two grandsons Antonio and Andrew and his nephew Ron. Predeceased by sister Jean and parents Wilhelmina and Charles. Jack was a World War II RCAF veteran and a dedicated public servant for almost 3 decades with Canada Post. Born in Toronto Jack and his family lived in Willowdale and Thornhill. Jack retired with his wife 'Vye' to the Port Hope area where they enjoyed the company of family, friends and neighbours. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3 at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street (Hwy 28), Port Hope, L1A 2T3 with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice. Grampy we love you and you will always be with us.
