Doritty, The Reverend Donald Owen BA hons, B Ed, B.S.T. Passed away suddenly at Port Hope on Monday November 13, 2006 in his 79th year. The Reverend Donald Doritty predeceased by his loving wife Eileen Mary Dyson. Husband of Marguerite W. Doritty. Loving father of Paula Doritty and her husband Tony Frost and David Doritty and his wife Ann. Beloved grandfather of Robyn, Jonathan and Michael. Brother-in-law of Harry and Margaret Greene. Friends will be received at St. Peter?s Anglican Church, 240 College Street at King Street East (Hwy2), Cobourg, Thursday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service at St. Peter?s Anglican Church, Friday November 17th at 3 pm. Graduate of Trinity College, U of T 1956. Born on February 17, 1927 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. English teacher at Northern Secondary School in Toronto and well respected teacher at (Head of History Dept.) Jarvis Collegiate for 25 years. 21 years honorary Assistant at St. Clements Anglican Church, Toronto. 1988 ? 92 he was Vicar of St. James Cathedral, Toronto. In 1993 he and Eileen moved to Port Hope and became active in the community. Priest in charge at St. Peters, Cobourg, Honorary Assistant at St. Mark?s and St. John?s in Port Hope. And most recently honorary assistant at St. Peter?s Church Cobourg. A life long Leaf?s supporter. Loved by all who knew him.
