Ashby, Ida Olive (nee: Hamilton) Passed away on Friday July 13, 2007. Leaving her loving husband Len, daughters Gwen Duck (Rennie) of Port Hope, Margaret Grimshaw (Dave) of Pickering and Lee-Anne Napier (Bob) of Hanmer. Grandma leaves her grandchildren Stephanie & Brandon Duck, Melissa & Stephen Grimshaw, Patrick & Colin Napier. Survived by sisters Ruth Holland, Rowena Landymore, Lola Turpin, Rilla Jex and Merle Carlson. Pre-deceased by her parents, brothers Earl & Maurice Hamilton and sister Joyce Alexander. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Monday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service at St. Mark?s Anglican Church, King Street, Port Hope on Tuesday 10:30 am. Followed by cremation. Reception at St. Mark?s Parish Hall. Allison Funeral Home Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

Port Hope Union Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope. The cemetery is located just past Jocelyn St./Marsh Rd. on the west (right) side of the road.

At the "Y" stay to the left, you are now on Mill St. N. Follow Mill St. N. south to County Rd. 2, Peter St. at the railway underpass. Turn left on Peter St. Follow Peter St. east a short block to King St. Turn left on King St. The church is a short distance along on the east (right) side of the street.
