Obituary of Allan Raymond Soles

Soles, Allan Raymond Suddenly at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Thursday August 16th 2007, in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Linda Jane Soles. Much loved father of Mark Soles and Cherie Mainville (Charles). Cherished grandfather of Charlene Mainville and Derrick Soles. Predeceased by his mother Gertie Villeneuve. Survived by his sisters Cecelia Gervais and Shirley Lojstrup, sister-in-laws Audrey Acres and Verna Fenton and many nieces and nephews. Al was thoroughly involved in the raising of his children and grandchildren and was always there for his beloved family. He was a loving husband, wonderful father and adoring grandfather. He was a loyal friend and a conscientious worker. He could be depended on to help others in their time of need. He had a passion for life, which involved his countless hobbies, such as golfing and wood working. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed, especially by his loving wife Linda Jane. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Friday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Saturday 11 am. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.
