Obituary of Earl Istead

Istead, Earl Norman Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Sunday September 9, 2007. Earl beloved husband of Irene Markwick. Loving father of Sharon Wopereis (Floyd Graham), Mark Istead (Paula) and Paul Istead (Diane). Dear grandfather to Theresa and Brian Wopereis, Alison, Adam, Natalie and Jeremy Istead. Brother of the late Douglas Istead. Brother in-law of Doris Istead. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Wednesday 12 noon until time of Memorial Service at 1 pm. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery. Wednesday 12 noon until time of Memorial Service at 1 pm. Allison Funeral Home Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

Cremation with Interment

Port Hope Union Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope. The cemetery is located just past Jocelyn St./Marsh Rd. on the west (right) side of the road.
