Elliott, Jack Masefield Jack died peacefully in his 78th year, surrounded by his family, Friday August 29, 2008. Beloved husband of Carol and father of Jaclyn (Merle Davis) and Janie (J.R. McGee). He was Poppa Jack to Brienne, Matthew, Lauren, Madison and Brooke. Predeceased by daughters Julie and Jill. Brother of Ross Elliott of Port Hope and the late Bruce and Mack Elliott. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Jack was co-owner of Peterborough Service Centre, Kawasaki Cycle, Founder of Lectron Radio and retired from Fleming College as an Electronic Technologist. A celebration of Jack?s life will be held at Mark St. United Church on Wednesday September 3rd at 12:00 noon, with visitation an hour before the service from 11 am. The family would like to thank the caring and dedicated nursing staff of the palliative care unit PRHC. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
