Obituary of Allen James Tarrington

Tarrington, Allen James (Jim) Passed away with his family at his side at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Friday April 24, 2009. Jim Tarrington beloved husband of Jean Thurtle son of the late Ethel and James Tarrington. Loving father of Betty Ann (Bruce Hendsby), Lillian Catherwood, Dianne Tarrington (Morris Dafoe), Evaline (Tom Davey), Donna (Bruce Graham), Jim Tarrington (Donna), Kim (Mike Inglis) and the late Robin survived by son-in-law Chuck Bemma. Also survived by 20 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren predeceased by granddaughters June Skinner and Marie Graham. Brother of Lillian Anderson, Bob and Marjorie Tarrington, Gayle Peters and the late Bill, Alfred, Don and Ron Tarrington. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Monday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Tuesday 11 am. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.
