Obituary of William Edwin Tranmer

TRANMER, WILLIAM EDWIN (Bill), (Port Hope, Ontario) B.A. Sc., University of Toronto, ?48, P.Eng. Passed away suddenly at Kingston General Hospital, Thursday, April 17th, 2003. Bill Tranmer was the beloved husband of Lois, and the loving and much loved father of Gary (Joan) of Kingston, Ontario and Bruce (Sandy) of Burlington, Vermont. He loved his Grandchildren Jennifer, Michael, Jane, Alexandra and Andrew who very much loved and respected him. He truly enjoyed the good times with his Sister in Law Glenna and Len Sawyer. The funeral service will be at St. John?s Anglican Church, Port Hope, Tuesday, 11 am. Internment will be in the Columbarium at Port Hope Union Cemetery. Port Hope Union Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope. The cemetery is located just past Jocelyn St./Marsh Rd. on the west (right) side of the road.

St. John's Parish Hall Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 eastbound Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope to Ridout St. Turn left at Ridout St. Follow Ridout St. east (it becomes Walton St.) to Pine St. Turn left on Pine St. Follow Pine St. north. The church is located a short distance along on the east (right) side of the street at the corner of South St. FROM HWY 401 westbound Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. At the "Y" veer to the left and continue south to Walton St. Turn right on Walton St. Follow Walton St. west through the business section to Pine St. Turn right on Pine St. Follow Pine St. north. The church is located a short distance along on the east (right) side of Pine St. at South St.
