WITHERIDGE, Ruth - Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Rosewood Retirement Home in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband C.H. "Ted" Witheridge. Cherished mother to John (Valerie), David (Jane), Barbara (David) and Donald (Lynn). Proud grandmother to Kristi, Devon, Timothy Robert and Mark. Loving great-grandmother "GG" to Freeman. Sister of the late Douglas and Donald Allison. Ruth was an avid bridge player and enjoyed her many friends at bridge. A special thank you to the staff of Rosewood Retirement Home for their compassionate care for our Mom. Visitation will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at Crossroads United Church (690 Sir John A. MacDonald Boulevard) on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Cataraqui Cemetery.
