Obituary of Norman Darling

Darling, Norman George (WW II Veteran) Passed away at Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario on Tuesday September 27, 2011. Norm Darling was the beloved husband of the late Anne Reid. Dear father of Norma Wright (Randy Humphrey) of Courtice, Linda Moore of Ottawa, Diane (Paul McDonald) of Chilliwack, BC and Lorraine (Tom Manley) of Woodstock. Also survived by grandchildren Katrina, Melissa, Ryan, Jennifer, Brad, Simon, Cal and Michael and great-grandfather of Hannah, Samuel, Connor, Jamison, Callan, Oliver, Ivy and most recently Deryn. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Friday 7-9 pm. Memorial Funeral Service Saturday 11 am. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.
