James Cook

Obituary of James Henry Cook

Cook, James Henry (Jim) Courage..........not the absence of fear or despair but the strength to conquer them. My dearest husband and best friend Jim left us on August 12, 2012 at his beloved Sleepy Hollow Farm. He had fought pancreatic cancer for four and a half years. He died a warrior. He was the youngest brother of his wonderful sister Carol who travelled every mile of this journey with us. His brothers John and Joe and their wonderful wives and children and his brother and sister in law Gail and Ted Bowen will miss him. If Jim loved you; he loved you completely. Jim loved nothing more than his own family. It was an honour to be his wife. At Jim's request there will be no visitation or funeral. He will be buried on his farm and in Cuba with all of his Cuban friends and family present. To me you will always be eighteen, and beautiful, dancing away with my heart'.
