Passed away surrounded by his family at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Sunday January 16, 2022. John Witheridge retired elementary school teacher, coach and teammate. Beloved husband of Valerie Mercer for 49 years. Loving father of Devon (Tamara Zunti) and Bobby (Andrea Fennell). Survived by his grandchildren Brixham and Asher. Dear brother of Dave Witheridge, Barbara (Dave Wilson) and Don (Lynn). Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
